Patrick Dobson - writer, historian, and ironworker with a PhD in history. He has done a few things that I am unlikely to do: Walk 1,450 miles from Kansas City, Missouri to Helena, Montana. Write a book about it. Canoe 1,450 miles back to Kansas City. Write a book about that. I like to make my portrait work be like a conversation in which photographs are made, rather than the typical one way style of photographer aims camera at latest victim. As part of our conversation, Patrick took a few photos of me which can be seen @ShootingWithFilm
